Chocolate Chip Cookies

We love this recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I usually only get to bake a few cookies when I make this recipe because....we LOVE cookie dough at our house. This recipe is delicious, baked....or not:)

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I use semi-sweet chocolate chips)

  4. I'm curious about the ratio too - I made this and it seems really dry and crumbly. I'm going to add some butter and see if that helps.
